Sisters of the Holy Cross  (Menzingen) in Sri Lanka Provincial House

The first provincial house was built in Beach Road, Jaffna in 1955. It started off as a small house and grew over the years to accommodate Sisters as demand grew

Due to the continued unrest in Jaffna and the many travel restricts to the north of the island, the Provincial House was established at 29 Norris Avenue, Borella, Colombo 8 in 1995. 

A new Provincial House has been built at Daluwakottuwa, Kochchikade, with funds generously donated by the Congregation from other parts of the world – especially from our Mother House in Menzingen, Switzerland

This new Provincialate House was blessed and opened by Rt. REV. Dr. MARIUS PIERIS on 1st August 2008.  Besides the mission of Administration of the Province, this House is used for Retreats and Seminars for our sisters from all over Sri Lanka
